The defending state runner-up Wilson High girls bowling team is set to host the Tower Classic Bowling Tournament at Tower Lanes on Dec. 15, beginning at 9 a.m.
The Rams sit at 9-1 so far this season and are led by senior Sam Dusek – who averages a score of 170 per round – and sophomore Hunter Fruehling-Thomas, who averages a 167.
Among the 12 teams participating will be defending 4A state runner-up Emerald Ridge, who features third-place individual finisher Elisa Couch. Timberline – who finished fifth at the 2A/3A state meet last year – and Black Hills, the defending sixth-place finisher, will also take part. Other teams scheduled to participate include Puyallup, Graham-Kapowsin, Olympic, Klahowya, Wenatchee, Everett, Cascade and Central Kitsap.
