In a baseball game with a combined 14 walks and less-than stellar defense, the Stadium Tigers defeated the Foss Falcons by a score of 8-4 on Monday afternoon at Foss Field in a game that witnessed both teams strand a total of 28 base runners.

Left fielder Tyler Mick lead the Stadium attack by going two-for-four with two runs and a run-batted-in. Center fielder Marcus Ransom lead Foss with two hits and an RBI.

Falcon starting pitcher Brady Todhunter threw four effective innings for Foss, while Tiger starter Donovan Castro struggled to find the plate. He walked eight batters in…

Marcus Trufant is calling it a day and is doing it as a Seattle Seahawk. The 10-year NFL cornerback has re-signed with the team and will officially retire from the league.

The former Wilson Ram standout and All-American at Washington State University spent his entire playing career with Seattle after being selected eleventh in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

Trufant started 125 games for the Seahawks and remains fifth in the team's record books with 21 interceptions. He recorded 646 tackles in his career and was an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in 2007 when he logged 85…

For those 21 and up, the Rainiers are also offering $15 Terrace tickets with $5 domestic beers and $5 hot dogs all night long.

For the next seventy minutes Mt Tahoma (1-3-1) controlled the ball, dictated the flow of the game and had several chances for an equalizer goal, let alone a handful more. Instead, the Thunderbirds were plagued by numerous offside calls, poorly struck kicks in front of the goal and a few headers that were almost good enough.

The Gators…

Following possibly the roughest season in school history, Mount Tahoma High School has hired Ricky Daley to take over the Thunderbird football program.

Daley has been an assistant coach at the University of Puget Sound since 2007; most recently coaching tight ends. A graduate of the University of Hawaii, where he was an Academic All-Conference wide receiver, Daley is also an Investigator for Child Protective Services.

“I look forward to bringing some excitement and success to the Thunderbird program,” said Daley. “I want to get the numbers back up with our turnout, get those…
