Sometimes heroes come in a most unlikely form. Such is the case with Anthony Troy McCane. McCane made some bad choices in his life – gangs, drugs…the street life drew him in. A drug transaction gone wrong led to him being shot and paralyzed in 2002, confined to a wheelchair. The 34-year-old died of complications from pneumonia just three months ago, leaving behind his wife Larissa and three children. Read more...

County updates courthouse security procedures
