An outdoor fashion show took place June 24 at Madera Architectural Elements when Tacoma artist Lynn Di Nino of Di Nino Fabrications unveiled her eye-catching collection of summer sweater-coats, modeled on a runway by her friends and fellow artists. Holding white portrait frames, models struck poses as a nod to the artistry in Di Nino’s creations made from repurposed sweaters she buys by the pound at Goodwill outlets and area thrift stores.
