Free Christmas performance for military and first responders

// 50th Annual Singing Christmas Tree gives back

With deep honor and gratitude, Life Center is offering free tickets for military, first responders and their families to an exclusive performance of the 50th annual Singing Christmas Tree, “A Golden Christmas,” on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. America is a blessed nation because of their courage and commitment, and this exclusive performance is Life Center’s opportunity to say thank you to these brave men and women. “With so many military families reunited for Christmas, we thought it would be the least we could do to make sure that this holiday is as special as possible. We are so grateful for the service our first responders have rendered and the sacrifices our soldiers have made,” says Dean Curry, Senior Pastor of Life Center. A Tacoma family holiday tradition, the Singing Christmas Tree comes to life in an awe-inspiring light show that features festive, timeless musical favorites with a modern twist. “A Golden Christmas” is a Broadway-style musical that features over 100 singers, 40 instrumentalists 50 dramatists and dancers and 100,000 twinkling lights. There will be 15 performances this year, plus the special December 6 production for military and first responders. Performances for the general public begin December 7. A full schedule of performances and tickets are available for purchase at or at Life Center during business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., located at 1717 S. Union Ave., Tacoma, WA 98405. Call the ticket line at (253) 761-2147.
