Sometimes drugs make people goofy. Sometimes the siren call of booze demands people do bad things. These are two such cases.
A patrol officer was called to an apartment along the 8600 block of Pacific Avenue on Nov. 22 to find a woman crying in the parking lot that a strange woman was smoking meth in her apartment and would not leave. The officer investigated. He found a woman in the apartment with a puffy cloud of white smoke above her head. The woman’s eyes grew wide when she saw the officer. The woman was handcuffed and the couch cushion the woman was sitting on hid a glass pipe that was taken into evidence. Witnesses said the woman had been smoking meth long before the officer arrived. Fife Jail was her next stop.
A drunken dude found his way to a restaurant along the 7200 block of Pacific Avenue and decided to take a nap. It was apparently a deep slumber since the restaurant manager called police around midnight after he had urinated on himself and kept sleeping. The man was cited for trespassing and escorted off the property. There is no mention in the report if the pee soaked pants froze in the night air that Nov. 22 evening.
