Getting picked to compete on NBC-TV's “The Voice” is pretty durn good exposure for an aspiring pop star. So is 40 million TV viewers seeing you get props from celebrity soul machine, Cee Lo Green. But you really know you've made it when you get to kick it with the Muppets on national television. And that's, apparently, what Tacoma spitfire Vicci Martinez does on a new holiday special, “Cee Lo's Magic Moment,” which airs 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, on the TV Guide Network. Locally, that's Comcast channel 74 and Dish Network channel 117.
The program was taped in October at Planet Hollywood resort in Las Vegas. And Rolling Stone reports that highlights include Martinez teaming up with “The Voice” rival Niki Dawson to sing Joni Mitchell's “River.” Their season one battle on Pink's “Perfect” remains one of "The Voice's" high water marks.
