Tom Sawyer opens today at Tacoma Youth Theatre for three performances, Friday, June 21 at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 22 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 23 at 3 p.m.
Performances are held at The Center for Spiritual Living, 206 North J Street at Division Ave. Tacoma Youth Theatre is an educational theatre company, with no religious affiliation.
Seven young actors tell the tale in 60 minutes. Mark Twain's classic coming-of-age tale was adapted for the stage by Maggie Knott and Scott Campbell for Tacoma Youth Theatre.
All tickets are by donation. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged. Bring the whole family for this 60-minute, original adaptation of Twain's classic.
