Tickets on sale for February Sonics, Mudhoney show

The Sonics first hometown concert since the Johnson Administration was criminally under-attended back on July 27 at the Pantages Theater. But lucky for us, Tacoma’s garage-rock heroes aren’t making us wait another 46 years for another chance to hear “The Witch,” “Psycho” and “Have Love Will Travel” live.

The band - which features singer-keyboardist Jerry Roslie, guitarist Larry Parypa and sax player Rob Lind from the classic ‘60s lineup - will play a show with Mudhoney on Nov. 2 at Seattle’s Showbox at the Market. Tickets are cheaper this time around - $25 in advance, $30 day of show - and they're on sale now. Click here for details.

Those unfamiliar with Tacoma's most enduring garage-rock icons can get a primer from the story you'll find here. And you can relive the beginning of their Tacoma gig with video below.
