Tacoma Youth Theatre seeks new home

With the First Congregational Church of Tacoma under new owners, Mars Hill Church, the resident theater company that leases space there needs a new home.

Mars Hill will be doing some extensive renovations to the historic property in downtown Tacoma, which means Tacoma Youth Theatre needs a new space after the end of November, making one last production possible with the staging of "Anne of Green Gables."

TYT is now raising some capital and looking for a new location and has been accepted into the Tacoma Spaceworks program, but the timeline of space large enough for stage productions is an unanswered question.
