Send a kid to camp and take home some art

Tahoma Audubon, the Pierce County chapter of National Audubon Society, is conducting an online art print auction to replenish its scholarship fund. Tahoma Audubon provides need-based scholarships for area youth attending classes and day camps offered by both Tahoma Audubon and the Tacoma Nature Center, for our summer camp teen internship, and for adult environmental education programs and classes year round.
The fall art auction is live now and runs until Oct. 20. It features more than 50 fine art prints featuring birds and wildlife of North America. Most prints are signed by the artist. These prints are large, high quality prints suited for framing. They are flat, not rolled. These prints would make a beautiful gift for any nature-lover with an empty wall.
Donations are also being accepted to the scholarship fund. The goal is $3,000 to meet the anticipated needs based on scholarships awarded this year.
