Members of the Occupy Tacoma protest movement at the pocket park at the corner of 21st Street and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma have posted that they may have overstayed their welcome.
Washington State Department of Transportation officials reportedly paid a visit today and mentioned the word "eviction."
The web and Facebook posts mention that state officials have plans to discuss the encampment at the Occupy Tacoma General Assembly meeting tomorrow.
The local branch of the international "Occupy" movement that started on Wall Street has maintained an encampment at what it calls "Occupation Park" since the early fall.
More on the movement can be found here.
