Next step for Sound Transit

Now is the time to help decide where Sound Transit services expand after current voter-approved projects are complete in 2023.

Voters in Central Puget Sound approved the formation of Sound Transit to develop a high-capacity transportation system for the region, where about 40 percent of the state's residents live. The Long-Range Plan is the vision for how the system should grow over many decades.

Sound Transit is asking the public to help update the LRP as part of preparing a supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS). This important process will identify public priorities for future services and destinations.

The next local meeting will be held Nov. 18, at 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Tacoma Convention Center, 1500 Broadway
