Tacoma police officers are investigating a brutal attack of a woman as she opened a daycare center this morning.
The victim was reportedly opening the Tender Heart Learning Center along the 8200 block of Pacific Avenue South, when a man entered the building under the guise of wanting to enroll his child in the center. He then attacked her before fleeing the scene.
The woman was taken to the hospital for serious injuries from the assault that left her unable to talk to investigators before she was treated for her injuries.
The suspect is described as a thin, black male in his mid 20s with a short haircut and stood about 5-feet, 6-inches tall.
