I became a fan of Kramer when I first heard “Pac Ave,” a churning tsunami of surf-punk goodness from the Tacoma trio’s self-titled debut album and, I’d argue, the best ode to Tacoma grit since Girl Trouble’s “My Hometown.” Then I learned how well Kramer delivers live as I witnessed them crush their set Saturday night at McCoy’s Tavern in Olympia. Small crowd, epic sounds. You can download the band’s newest album, “Here We Go,” for free here, and you’ll be able to read more in the pages of Tacoma Weekly before their next show, at Rocket Records on Dec. 8. Meanwhile, enjoy a couple of clips from last night's set. Just don't knock over your computer when you're overcome by the need to get your mosh on.
