Hylebos Bridge is now open

The community was invited to celebrate the re-opening of the Hylebos Bridge at an event this morning at the Hylebos Bridge, which spans the Hylebos Waterway on the east side of the Tacoma Tideflats.

The celebration included speakers and a ribbon cutting by City of Tacoma Council Member Jake Fey and the president of the Port of Tacoma Commission Dick Marzano.

The Hylebos Bridge rehabilitation included structural and mechanical replacements and repairs, electrical system replacements and repairs, and improvements to the existing stormwater system.
