On Friday, Nov.22, 30 officers from the Pierce County region, including Mount Rainier and members of the Military Police, and Pierce County Prosecutor Tim Jones, will be recognized for their efforts in DUI and Impaired Driving Enforcement.
The annual event is hosted by the City of Fife and the Tacoma Pierce County DUI Victims Impact Panel.
The awards ceremony is held at the Columbia Jr. High, located at 2901 54th Avenue East in Fife and starts at 7 pm.
Keith Eldridge from KOMOTV is the MC for the event and Pierce County Council Chair Joyce McDonald will be speaking.
The Pierce Metro Honor Guard will be performing as well as the bell ringing for each of the Pierce County DUI victims.
