The Washington State Fair has added an electronic music festival to it's late summer lineup. Canadian DJ and dubstep producer Jeff Abel, aka Excision, is among the big names headed to Puyallup for the Digital Affair, a showcase of “the world's most in-demand Djs” that will take over the fair grandstand on Sept. 14. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, with prices ranging from $45 to $80.
Washington State Fair is putting on the event with USC Events, and the announcement comes in the wake of tragedy that struck at the Seattle-based promoter's last event, Paradiso Festival, an event held last weekend at the Gorge Amphitheatre near Quincy. The Associated Press reports that a local man who attended the concert died and dozens of others were treated after overdosing on a popular street drug known as “molly.”
