Community conversation to discuss organizing for migrant justice

Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation sent out the following press release today:
Join Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Sunday, Nov. 17 for a day of stories, planning, and collaboration led by Dulce Guerrero, Undocumented youth organizer and the Secure Your Own Community trainer for the National Immigrant Youth Alliance. At 1:30 p.m., she will join us for a potluck conversation of all interested in working to end non-criminal deportations.
We have just deported the two-millionth human being during this administration. More than half of the deportees, contrary to what we are told, have no criminal record. This is a time to gather, plan and build coalitions to put an end to this un-American activity. Let's work together as migrants and allies for change!
We are also seeking a volunteer interpreter, should you know of someone who might be interested.
TUUC is located at 1115 S. 56th St., Tacoma.
You are welcome to join us earlier in the day to witness her deliver the message in the worship service at 9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
Please help us spread the word to groups and people who care about migrant justice.
