Arrest in campus shooting

Tacoma police arrested Bryan Windmeyer, the suspect in a shooting at the University of Puget Sound, this afternoon. He was apprehended at an apartment complex in the central section of the city. Windmeyer allegedly was car prowling on campus on April 25 when he was confronted by two security guards. He is accused of firing a shot at one of the guards and fleeing in a stolen vehicle. He has been booked into Pierce County Jail.
