2011 Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival happens this Saturday

Free admission, all ages event on three stages


Gather up the family and head to downtown Tacoma on Saturday for the 2011 Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival. Free parking and festival jumping off point are at Freighthouse Square, which is the best place to park and ride the light rail for free back and forth to the other venues. Great food, great jazz and blues in wonderful venues and better than ever, bring your friends! FREE admittance provided by your donations, festival sponsors and all the prestigious participating venues. Enjoy top jazz and blues bands all day long!

5-6 p.m.  Jerry Miller and Company

8-11 p.m.  Rich Wetzel’s Groovin’ Higher Jazz Orchestra with special guests sitting in, on second floor main stage
