Typhoon Haiyan benefit scheduled for Thursday at the Swiss

On Thursday, Dec. 12, the Swiss Pub will hold a musical benefit for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which ravaged the Philippines a month ago. Organizers are suggesting a $10 donation, with proceeds being donated to the relief efforts of the Philippine American Youth Organization and Habitat for Humanity.

Organizers are also assembling care packages to be shipped directly to victims by LBC Express. They are seeking donations of warm weather clothing, Crocs, flip-flops, first aid kits, vitamins and other items.

Music will start at 5 p.m., and the event is open to all ages until 9 p.m. The musical lineup is as follows:

The Bosses (5 p.m.)

Philippine Dance Company (5:30 p.m.)

Robin Dalynn with the Trio of 3 (6 p.m.)

Island Bound (7 p.m.)

Rafael Tranquilino and friends (8 p.m.)
