The brewers will be on hand for a meet & greet from noon to 3 p.m. and to cap off the evening there will be live music in the newly opened Taproom Underground from 9 p.m. to midnight with Bodybox, Jupiter Order and Resdeus. The Harmon Taproom is located at 204 St. Helens Ave.
It was just three short years ago that a gaggle of bloodthirsty film buffs gathered to watch movies so bad that they just had to share them. Since then, the Tacoma Cult Movie Club has screened movies with flesh eating plants, Satanic cults, zombie strippers, bikers gone wrong and women in prison – lots of women in prison. Well, TCMC is hosting its third anniversary with a potluck and triple feature at the Acme Grub Cage starting at 4 p.m. on April 8. The movies will be the “best movies that were overlooked” from this year. Admission and popcorn are free, but raffle tickets will be available for purchase to fund the cause.
