Strangely Alright with Raymond Hayden to make beautiful music together at First Night

Strangely Alright is excited to announce the addition of new keyboardist/vocalist Raymond Hayden along with his first performance with critically acclaimed power poppers Strangely Alright to bring in an amazing 2014.

“He is a man of many talents,” said Strangely Alright front man Regan Barger about Hayden – singer songwriter, radio show host, owner of Maurice the Fish Records (to which Strangely Alright is signed) and a huge supporter of the local community and music scene. “We are grateful to have such a talented musician join the Strangely family and excited for our first show together!”

First Night is Tacoma's New Year's Eve festival, an all-ages, alcohol free and family friendly celebration held in downtown Tacoma's Theater District. The affordable admission price includes entrance to museums, lots of live music, art, drama, dance, and a whole day and night of activities culminating in a midnight fire spectacular at 11:45 p.m. Visit

Strangely Alright with Raymond Hayden will perform at 8:30 p.m. on the Duchess of Downtown stage (between 11th and 13th streets on Broadway). This stage is located outdoors nestled in a nook between buildings in a stairwell called Broadway Plaza next to Mad Hat Tea Company. The music starts at 7 p.m. with Mirrorgloss, Strangely Alright 8:30-9:30 p.m. then Stephanie Anne Johnson (from “The Voice” fame) sings from 10-11 p.m.
