Pop star CeeLo Green has canceled his Washington State Fair appearance, which was scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12. A statement issued by his publicist reads, “As a result of a bad case of laryngitis and acute sinusitis, CeeLo Green has been advised by his doctor to rest his voice and not fly until further notice. Unfortunately, he will not be able to perform tomorrow night at the Washington State Fair, and sincerely apologizes to his fans and hopes for a quick recovery.”
Ticket holders are being compensated in two ways: They can receive a full refund, or they can exchange their tickets for admission to another grandstand show. Ticket holders will be refunded the difference in cost when exchanging tickets for a less expensive show and have to pay the difference for shows that cost more.
A list of remaining grandstand concerts can be viewed at www.thefair.com/concerts.
Ticket holders may pursue either option by e-mailing email@example.com or by visiting the Washington State Fair ticket office, which is located at the intersection of Ninth Ave., SW and Meridian St., in Puyallup. Organizers request that either option be completed by Sept. 22, the last day of the Puyallup Fair.
